companies, variously referred to as "Cristal Australia",

Section 1 – General Privacy
Types of Personal Information
Cristal Australia may obtain Personal Information
about prospective and current employees and may also request information from former
employees. This information may be
part of a prospective employee’s
job application (and includes and information provided at the time of
registering to use the Cristal Careers website);
site attendances; and
part of ongoing workforce management and record keeping.
We may collect Personal Information
about you such as your name, email address and telephone number, qualifications
and career history (including information contained in any uploaded CV). We may ask you for information regarding your
interests and the types of jobs in which you are interested. Further Personal Information
may be collected, subject to applicable Privacy Regulation and if you consent,
where necessary, in the course of undertaking background, qualifications and eligibility-to-work
checks and from your referees and references. Finally, we may also keep a record of communications
if we contact each other.
Information about your: racial or ethnic origin; political options; membership
of a political association; religious beliefs or affiliations; philosophical
beliefs; membership of a professional or trade association; membership of a
trade union; sexual orientation or practices; criminal record; or health and
genetics (Sensitive Information).
Sensitive Information will only be
requested and managed by Cristal Australia if it is necessary to comply with
equal opportunity and work health & safety laws and regulations. We recommend you only communicate Sensitive Information
if it is specifically requested (e.g. as part of pre-employment medical and
drug and alcohol testing procedures) or if you believe it is required for Cristal
Australia to comply with such laws and regulations.
Your Personal Information may be transferred
to and stored within documents and materials we create based upon the Personal Information
you provide us.
Cristal Australia may obtain Personal Information
of individuals with whom we deal in the course of our business activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the contact
customers and suppliers;
and tenants of properties and tenements in which we have an interest or at
which we store materials;
departments and regulatory agencies;
and indigenous organisations; and
groups and other organisations.
We may also request that more detailed
Personal Information be provided in prospective suppliers’ tenders and
proposals (which may for example include personal biographies/CVs) and customers’

receiving invitations or notifications that we may send out. We may also keep a record of communications if

Cristal Australia places importance on
ensuring the security of the Personal Information of our job-applicants,
employees, customers, suppliers and everyone with whom we deal. This

Australia has security measures in place to attempt to protect against the
loss, misuse or alteration of Personal Information under our control and to prevent

then process and store your name and business contact details (for example, your
title, work address, email address and telephone numbers).

acting on requests for access to Personal Information. However, Cristal Australia reserves the right
to charge an appropriate fee or seek reimbursement for reasonable costs
associated with retrieving, copying or providing access to your Personal Information.

personal to you only. We reserve the
right to redact or withhold information to the extent it relates to,
identifies, or is the Personal Information of, another person.
You also have the right to ask us to
update or correct your Personal Information where it is inaccurate, incomplete
